She attended Life West Chiropractic College in California and graduated Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian. This was when she became interested in chiropractic. Athletes still get hurt! After years of problems, she finally went to a chiropractor and received the right kind of help. Kraftick was Project Engineer on Laser Isotope Separation, as well as the SYNROC project, and was Project Leader for the design and development of the Aluminum-Air Battery for Electric Vehicles.Įven though she continued to be an avid swimmer (she swam across Lake Tahoe and the San Francisco Golden Gate), she developed low back problems. Before becoming a chiropractor, she was a Research Engineer at Chevron Research Corporation and at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). She then received her Masters Degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). While at Cornell, she was named a Cornell National Scholar and was on the varsity swim team and in numerous honor societies including TAU BETA PI Engineering Honorary and Mortarboard (Community Service Honorary). Karen received her Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University. Whatever Karen Kraftick does, she is firm, positive and enthusiastic in her approach.
Kraftick is a practicing chiropractor and head of the Kraftick Chiropractic Center in Roy, Utah.
